Colorado has a new minimum wage. It was officially put into effect on the first of the year. This year's increase marks the third straight year the wage has increased, a 41 percent hike during that time.

Gary Klein, Couger professor of business at UCCS, was cited at the top of a list of the “Top 32” most productive authors in the world in information systems. The study was completed by Michael Gallivan, associate professor, Georgia State University, and Raquel  Benbunan-Fich, associate professor, City University of New York.

Adult Basic Education (ABE) is provided for 0.0–8.9 reading and math levels. Adult Secondary Education (ASE) is provided for 9.0–12.9 reading and math levels.
